365-day limited warranty

Every Clearborne pair is covered by a 365-day limited warranty against manufacturing defects from the date of delivery.

What is covered

Frame defects. Hinges that fail under normal wear, screws that strip, plating that peels or bubbles, acetate that cracks at a stress point not caused by impact.

Lens fitting defects. Lenses that do not match the prescription on file, lenses with measurable centration or axis errors at delivery, or lenses that pop out due to a frame fault.

Coating defects. Anti-reflective coating that crazes, delaminates, or develops chemical-looking spotting within the first year of normal cleaning.

What is not covered

Normal wear and tear after the 365-day period.

Accidental damage (drops, sat on, stepped on), misuse, loss, or theft.

Scratches on lenses or frame caused by abrasive cleaning, contact with hard surfaces, or storage without a case.

Changes in your prescription — a new prescription is not a warranty event.

Modifications by a third-party optician (for example, lens replacement by another lab) void the warranty on the affected parts.
