Terms & Conditions

These terms govern your use of the Clearborne website and the purchase of products from Clearborne, operated by DUOLA INTERNATIONAL TRADE HOLDINGS LIMITED, registered in Hong Kong, with registered address Room D07, 8/F, Kai Tak Industrial Building, 99 Fuk Wa Street, Sham Shui Po, Kowloon, Hong Kong. By using the site or placing an order you accept these terms.

1. Use of the website

You may use the site for personal, non-commercial purposes. You must not attempt to misuse the site, interfere with its operation, or access data you are not entitled to.

2. Customer accounts

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity on your account. Notify us if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. Products, pricing, and availability

Product descriptions, prices, and availability are shown on the product pages and may change at any time without prior notice. Your order is an offer to buy; the contract is formed only when we confirm the order and the payment is confirmed by our payment provider. We may decline or cancel an order if a product is unavailable, if pricing is incorrect, if we suspect fraud, or for legal or compliance reasons, and we will refund any amount already charged.

4. Prescription orders

Prescription lenses are produced based on the prescription information you provide — for example sphere, cylinder, axis, addition, PD, and prism. You are responsible for providing accurate and current prescription and PD information.

We may contact you to verify unclear or unusual prescription details before starting production. See how to read your prescription and how to measure PD.

5. Cancellation

You may request cancellation before production or fulfillment begins. Prescription or customized lens orders may not be cancellable once lens production has started. Returns of finished prescription lenses are subject to our returns policy.

6. Limitation of service

Clearborne is an eyewear retail store. We do not provide eye exams, medical diagnosis, medical advice, or medical treatment. If you are unsure about your prescription you should consult a licensed optometrist or eye care professional. See our Prescription & Eyewear Disclaimer.

7. Payment

Payments are processed by third-party payment providers. By placing an order you authorize the provider to charge the order amount in the listed currency. Refunds and chargeback disputes are handled in accordance with the payment provider's processes and our returns & refunds policy. See also Payment & Billing.

8. Shipping, returns, and warranty

Shipping, returns, and warranty are governed by their respective policies: Shipping, Returns & Refunds, and Warranty. International customers may be responsible for customs duties, import taxes, VAT, and local handling fees.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Clearborne is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from the use of the site or its products. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
