Returns & refunds
If a pair is not right for you, we want to make it right. Please read this page in full before opening a return — prescription and made-to-order items have specific rules.
Return window
Customers may request a return within 30 days after delivery. Items must be unused, unworn, in original condition, and with the original packaging where possible.
What can be returned
Frame-only and non-prescription orders can be returned for a refund within the return window for any reason, provided the items are in resalable condition.
Prescription / custom lens orders
Custom prescription lenses and made-to-prescription eyewear may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns once lens production has started or completed. They are always covered if the item is defective, damaged, or incorrect due to our error (for example, the lenses do not match the prescription we received).
Defective, damaged, or wrong item
If a pair arrives damaged or you received a different frame, lens type, or prescription than ordered, please email support@clearborne.com within 14 days of delivery with your order number and clear photos. We will arrange a free replacement, repair, or refund.
How to start a return
Email support@clearborne.com with your order number and the reason for return. We will reply with return instructions and the correct return address. Returns shipped without contacting us first cannot be processed.
Refund method
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method through the original payment provider. We cannot refund to a different card, account, or wallet.
Refund timing
Refunds are usually processed within 5–10 business days after we receive and inspect the returned item. Bank or payment provider timing may add additional days before the refund appears on your statement.
Return shipping
The customer may be responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to Clearborne's error, a defective item, or the wrong item being shipped. We cover return shipping in those cases.
Cancellation
You may request cancellation before production or fulfillment begins. Prescription and customized lens orders may not be cancellable once production has started. Contact support as early as possible if you need to cancel.
