Prescription & Eyewear Disclaimer

Clearborne is an online eyewear retail store, operated by DUOLA INTERNATIONAL TRADE HOLDINGS LIMITED (Hong Kong). This page explains the limits of what Clearborne does and does not provide.

We are an eyewear retailer, not an eye care clinic

• Clearborne does not perform eye exams.
• Clearborne does not provide medical diagnosis, medical advice, or medical treatment.
• Clearborne does not sell contact lenses, medicine, or regulated medical treatment services.

How prescription orders work

When you order prescription lenses, we produce the lenses based on the prescription details you enter or upload at checkout — such as sphere, cylinder, axis, addition, PD, and prism. We do not verify these details against a clinical exam; we may contact you to clarify obvious errors or unusual values before starting production.

Your responsibility

• Make sure your prescription is current and valid in your country.
• Enter prescription values exactly as written by your optometrist.
• Measure or confirm your PD using the PD guide.
• If you are unsure about any value, consult a licensed optometrist or eye care professional before ordering.

When to consult a professional

If you experience blurred vision, eye pain, headaches, double vision, or other visual symptoms, please consult a licensed optometrist or ophthalmologist. Eyewear from a retailer is not a substitute for professional eye care.
